STD's/ STI's project:
In this project I learned that HIV is spread by exchanging one of five fluids. these fluids are:Vagina, Semen, Blood, Anal Mucus, and Breast Milk. I also learned that it is recommended that pregnant women get HIV/AIDS tested, due to the fact that it can be spread by blood, vagina fluid, and breast milk.

PrBL #2: Body Systems:
In this project I learned about the different systems in our body. And we dissected a rat. In the rat I observed that they have most of the same organs that humans do. Also we learned about different diseases that effect our body systems. For example paralysis is a loss of muscle function for one or more muscles.

PrBL #3:Nutrition:
In this project we learned about the metabolism and how if to people eat the same thing they could have different results. I also learned about carbohydrates, fats, and proteins in the body. If two people have different gender, type of metabolism, blood type, ethnic background, height culture, life style, BMI, age their weight can very based off of any of these things.
PrBL #4:Antibacterial Debate:
In this project we learned about how bacteria are mutating into super bacteria. Antibiotics and antibacterial products are causing unnatural evolution of bacteria that are harmful to humans. In this project we learned that antibiotics are mutating bacteria in to super bacteria that are harder to kill with just antibiotics.
PrBL #5: Environmental Impact of Renewable Energy:
In this project we learned about a type of renewable energy. Our energy was hydro. Hydro uses water, then water turns the turbine, which makes energy in the generator that goes to the power lines.
PrBL #6: Species Impact
In this project we learned that as the species environment changes the species that to adapt and mutate to survive in the changed environment. And we learned about how animals reduce competition. A way that animals can reduce competition is by protecting the animals territorial. For example when you see a lion chase another lion that shows protection of their territory so they get more food. Which this helps animals reduce competition.
PrBL #7: Wormy World
In this project I learned about global warming, and worms. I also learned about the 4 r's which are reduce, reuse, recycle, and rot. We can throw away 70% of our garbage in the compost bin and the other 30% we will probably reuse. 65% of out trash is biodegradable, the other 35% is stuff that we can reuse like plastic, metals, rubber, and glass.
